Monitor server tasks

You can monitor the server tasks that are automatically or manually triggered in ARIS Risk and Compliance. The server tasks are usually executed at night. For detailed information on how to configure parameters and schedule server tasks, refer to the online help of ARIS Risk and Compliance (Administrate ARIS Risk and Compliance > Manage the system > Adapt server task schedules and the Technical Help of ARIS Risk and Compliance > Installation, chapter Configure parameters.

Prerequisite

You have the Risk and Compliance administrator function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Risk and Compliance.

  3. Under ADMINISTRATION, click Server tasks.

  4. To monitor the queued and running server tasks as well as the last ten completed server tasks with their status, click Monitoring.

    1. To update the list manually, disable Auto-refresh every 10 seconds Auto-refresh every 10 seconds and use Refresh Refresh instead.

    2. Click a server task name to display more information about the execution of the server task.

    3. To cancel a server task in the queue or in progress, click Cancel Cancel server task.

  5. To display the entire list of completed server tasks, click Server task history.

You can specify the lifetime of completed server tasks in ARIS Risk and Compliance (Administration Administration > General > System management > System configuration > Administration > Server task schedules) using the parameters Lifetime of server task information (all) and Lifetime of server task information (without object changes).
