Deactivate objects

You can configure how schedules and tasks are to be deactivated. This can be useful, for example, to remove outdated data. When deactivating schedules, associated tasks can also be deactivated if required. The direct deactivation of tasks and the deactivation of tasks through their scheduler can be restricted to certain task status. Regardless of the status of the tasks, tasks can also be deactivated based on time.

Prerequisite

You have the Risk and Compliance administrator function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Risk and Compliance.

  3. Under SYSTEM CONFIGURATION, click Workflow management > Configuration > Object deactivation. The schedules are displayed.

    1. Enable the relevant schedule.

    2. Click Show details Show details. The Edit object deactivation panel is displayed.

    3. Specify whether the tasks generated based on the schedule are to be automatically deactivated when the schedule is deactivated, or whether the tasks are to be deactivated manually.

    4. Click Save.

  4. Click Tasks.

    1. Enable the relevant task.

    2. Click Show details Show details. The Edit object deactivation panel is displayed.

    3. Enable the status groups for which deactivation is to be allowed.

    4. Specify the period of time to be added to the task creation date to define the date when a task is to be automatically deactivated. If you selected time-based deactivation status groups are not considered for deactivation.

    5. Click Save.

The schedules and tasks will be deactivated according to your settings.
