Add a third-party document management system - OAuth

You can configure a third-party document management system.

The systems available are ARIS Adapter for Microsoft® SharePoint Online. Please contact your local ARIS sales organization for other third-party document management systems.

Prerequisite

  • You have the Technical configuration administrator function privilege.

  • OAuth is configured in Microsoft® SharePoint Online.

  • The client ID and the client secret are available.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration. Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Document storage.

  3. Click the arrow next to Document management system.

  4. Click General settings.

  5. Click Edit Edit.

  6. Enable Use third-party document management system.

  7. Optional: If you want to use more than one third-party document management system, enable Support for multiple document management systems.

  8. Click Save Save.

  9. Click New/Add Add. The Add document management system server dialog opens.

  10. Select the authentication scheme. OAuth is available. Select OAuth.

    As soon as you have selected OAuth, Client ID and Client secret is displayed instead of the fields User name and Password.

  11. Enter the following:

    • the server ID

    • the display name of the server

    • the type of the third-party document management system

    • the server URL

    • the client ID

    • the client secret

    • the document library name as root folder, the path is case sensitive

    • the site collection name with format /sites/<site_collection_name>, this is case sensitive

  12. Click Save.

You have added a third-party document management system.

If you want to specify more than one third-party document management system, proceed with step 9 of the procedure steps mentioned above.
