Assign user groups to a user
You can change the assignment of user groups for a user. User groups define the tasks or functions that a person performs in a company. A certain set of function, license, and database privileges, as well as profiles, is assigned to different user groups. If a user group is assigned to a user, the user has all privileges and profiles assigned to that user group. A user can belong to several different user groups at the same time. Function and license privileges can be assigned through the group or directly to the user. The type of assignment is displayed in Users > <user name> > Privileges.
