Assign users to a user group

You can change the assignment of users for a user group. Function and license privileges can be assigned through the group or directly to the user. The type of assignment is displayed in Users > <user name> > Privileges.

Prerequisite

You have the User administrator function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.

  2. Click User management User management and select User groups. The list of user groups opens.

  3. Click the user group whose user assignment you want to change.

  4. Click Associated users.

  5. Click Edit user group association Edit assignment. The Associate users dialog opens.

  6. Under Available users, enable all users you want to assign, then click Right arrow Add. To assign all available users, click Double arrow right Add all. The users are transferred to Associated users.

  7. To remove users again, enable them under Associated users and click Left arrow Remove. To remove all users, click Double arrow right Remove all.

  8. Click OK.

The users associated to the user group have been changed.

If required, product-specific groups must additionally be created and assigned in each ARIS product.
