What modeling conventions are checked?
You can upload process models and process diagram variants as BPMN diagrams to SAP Solution Manager. ARIS models are automatically converted to BPMN diagrams of the selected type. Models of the EPC and the Value-added chain diagram types are always converted. Models of all other types that are relevant for SAP synchronization are converted only if modeling rules are violated. If a model cannot be converted, the model will not be transferred. The System landscape or Role and the Process diagram or Collaboration diagram options you have selected for the model transfer are related to the rules applied.
Models of the EPC (column display) and EPC (row display) types
If a model contains process steps that are related to more than one process, the modeling rule is violated.
If you selected the Role or System landscape and the Process diagram options, the model cannot be converted and is not transferred to the SAP system.
If you selected the Role or System landscape and the Collaboration diagram options, the model is transferred as a converted diagram.
BPMN models
The following applies to models of the types BPMN collaboration diagram (BPMN 2.0), BPMN process diagram (BPMN 2.0), Enterprise BPMN collaboration diagram, and Enterprise BPMN process diagram.

If the violations occur, the models are transferred as converted diagrams.
