Simulation-relevant model types
ARIS provides numerous models that can be evaluated when simulating your processes. The following models can be included in the simulation of processes:
EPC model types

Model type | Use |

| Represent the chronological-logical procedural sequence of business processes. Processes are represented using control flow objects and control flow connections. The allocation of human, material and capacity resources to various activities also takes place within the process models. |

Event diagram | Offers an easy way to synchronize various logically associated start events for processes. |
Function allocation diagram | Represents the input and output data of functions or the human resources carrying them out for a transparent design of the process models. |
Organizational chart | Maps the organizational structures of your company in detail and provides information on the employees who carry out functions. This enables you to determine exactly which position or person is involved in carrying out a function. |
