Retrieve roles from ARIS database
After you created an environment, you can transfer the modeled roles of ARIS databases to Risk and Compliance.
Prerequisite
You have the Risk and Compliance administrator function privilege.
Click
Application launcher > 
Administration.
Configuration is displayed.Click Risk and Compliance.
Under DATA MANAGEMENT, click Roles.
Click
Get from ARIS Repository. The Transfer modeled roles to Risk and Compliance dialog is displayed.Select the ARIS database that is to be used to transfer the modeled roles to Risk and Compliance.
If required, enable Exclude ARIS databases that are not related to Risk and Compliance.
To transfer roles from a specific database group, select the corresponding database group. Otherwise, the roles are transferred from the entire database. By default, Main group is selected.
To deactivate roles in Risk and Compliance > Roles that were deleted in the ARIS database after the last transfer, enable Deactivate roles in Risk and Compliance that are no longer available in the ARIS database.
Click Next.
Select how connections between roles and users are to be transferred:
If you do not want to transfer any connections from the ARIS Repository to Risk and Compliance, select Do not update connections to users.
If you only want to transfer the connections that are modeled in the ARIS Repository and not yet exist in Risk and Compliance, select Only add additionally modeled connections to users.
If you only want to transfer all connections, select Overwrite connections to users as modeled.
Select an environment. Otherwise, the roles are transferred to all active environments.
Click Next.
Use the summary to check if your settings for the transfer are correct.
Click Finish.
The roles from the ARIS databases are transferred to Risk and Compliance according to your settings.
