Rename attributes and attribute values

You can rename attributes and attribute values for a tenant of ARIS and ARIS Risk and Compliance in Configuration Configuration. You can rename attributes in different languages and reset changes to the default value.

You can also change attribute names for forms in CONTENT CONFIGURATION > Forms .

If you specify different attribute names for an attribute in CONTENT CONFIGURATION > Forms and CONTENT CONFIGURATION > Object types, the attribute name will differ in forms and in other applications.

Prerequisite

You have the Risk and Compliance administrator function privilege.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration.Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Risk and Compliance.

  3. Under CONTENT CONFIGURATION, click Object types. The list of ARIS Risk and Compliance object types is displayed.

    You can sort in ascending or descending order by table header. Thus, you obtain a better overview. Alternatively, use the filter.

    You can Hidden columns specify the columns to be displayed in the lists. For example, display additional columns that are hidden by default, such as Identifier.

  4. Click the relevant object type. The attributes of the selected object type are displayed.

  5. Click the relevant attribute. The Edit object type attribute panel is displayed.

  6. Change the attribute's default name for the relevant languages.

  7. If you also want to rename attribute values, click Values. Values is only available if attribute values exist for the selected attribute.

  8. Select the language.

  9. Click the relevant attribute value. The Rename dialog is displayed.

  10. Change the attribute value's default name for the relevant languages.

  11. Click Save. The Rename dialog is closed.

  12. Click Save. The Edit object type attribute panel is closed.

Your changes are applied in ARIS and ARIS Risk and Compliance.

To reset your custom settings to the default values, select the relevant attributes or attribute values, then click Reset Reset.
