Configure message templates
You can configure automatic notifications from ARIS Risk and Compliance. The texts contain placeholders that can be used to insert variable text into the message, for example, the name of the relevant user. The placeholders are preceded by a $ and must not be changed.
The content of the automatic notifications is displayed in the HTML default template as $bodySection. You can modify the layout by editing the HTML template.
Prerequisite
You have the Risk and Compliance administrator function privilege.
Click
Application launcher >
Administration.
Configuration is displayed.Click Risk and Compliance.
Under DATA MANAGEMENT, click Messages.
Under Configuration, click Message templates. The list of message templates is displayed.
Click the message template type you want to change.
If there are several messages for the selected message template type, select the relevant message. The content view of the message is displayed.
Make you changes to the subject or the content.
Use the placeholders on the right to insert variable text into the message. Click the relevant placeholder to copy it to the clipboard, then paste it with Ctrl + V.
Click
Save.
You can send a test message to your e-mail account.
Close the dialog.
Click
Save.
Close the content view.
To change the activation status and the message type for the selected message, click
Change state and message type. The Change message type configuration dialog opens.
Specify whether the selected message template type is to be active or inactive.
If you selected Active for the Activation status, you can specify whether internal messages and/or e-mails are to be sent.
Click Change.
Your changes are saved and will be applied when the next notification of this type is sent.
To reset changed notifications to the default options, enable () the message template you want to reset, then click
Reset.
