Import content types set

You can import an existing set of content types. You have two options: Import from file or Import from configuration or modification set. If you select Import configuration or modification set, only the items and properties that you specified under Define modification set > Items will be imported from the configuration. If the content type set already exists, will be overwritten.

Prerequisite

You have the Configuration administrator function privilege.

Import from file

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open the content types page.

  2. Click Import Import.

  3. Select Import Import from file to import a set of content types from a file. You can use either a CCE or ZIP file.

    If you have any customized method filters, it is strongly recommended that you import them first, and then import a content type set from a ZIP file, to avoid unnecessary warnings.

    When importing a content type set from a ZIP file, the file is first validated first. During this process, the system verifies that the content type set is methodically correct according to the ARIS Method and checks the XML structure. If errors are found, the content type set is not be imported. Any errors or warnings are then displayed in a dialog. You can download this log file to evaluate it later.

Import from configuration or modification set

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Open the content types page.

  2. Click Import Import.

  3. Select Import from ARIS Import from configuration or modification set to import the content types you specified under Define modification set > Items .

You have imported a set of content types. The structure of the property groups and the configuration of the relation properties of the active configuration or of the default configuration are applied, especially the satellite modeling configuration. This is only the case if the import was done from the portal.
