Customize the catalog

You can customize the catalog of a database.

Prerequisite

  • You have created your own modification set.

  • You have the Portal administrator function privilege.

Customize the catalog for any modification set
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration. Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Publication settings > Manage configuration sets. All available configuration and modification sets are displayed. You can edit the modification sets.

  3. Click Edit Edit in the row of the relevant modification set.

  4. Click Components on the Define modification set page.

  5. Click Edit Edit in the Catalog row. The Catalog - Edit component view opens.

  6. Edit and modify a category according to your preferences.

  7. Create your custom structure element to access specific database elements by using Add Add category or Duplicate Duplicate.

  8. To obtain a better overview, delete the categories you do not need.

  9. To restore the default catalog of a database, click Refresh Restore.

Your changes are saved.

Customize the catalog for the active modification set
Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Edit Edit > Configure catalog Configure catalog. The Catalog - Edit component view opens in a new browser tab.

  2. Edit and modify a category according to your preferences.

  3. Create your custom structure element to access specific database elements by using Add Add category or Duplicate Duplicate.

  4. To obtain a better overview, delete the categories you do not need.

  5. To restore the default catalog of a database, click Refresh Restore.

Your changes are saved.
