Configure user interface

By default, ARIS provides the Classic and the Default configuration set as examples. Using these as basis, you can define modification sets to customize how data is displayed in ARIS. You can either specify item types in the modification sets or specify item types in the content type configuration.

A modification set specifies the view displayed in Published content. A modification set is a copy of a configuration set and can be edited by administrators to adapt the graphical user interface of ARIS to their own needs.

Administrators create and enable custom modification sets for you based on the classic configuration set or default configuration set to change the appearance of ARIS.

The modification sets are displayed under the configuration set that served as a basis.

It is recommended to save the customized modification set once it is finished. After a software update, you can restore the customized modification set to restore the look and feel of ARIS.
