Customize quota and restrictions

You can configure the quota and restrictions for your document storage. For example, limit the available storage space on physical or virtual data carriers for individual users, groups, or directories. Or restrict the allowed file types to avoid malicious files.

Prerequisite

You have the Technical configuration administrator function privilege.

Warning

Administrators can expand the list of allowed file types or remove the restrictions pertaining to the file types for upload. If you add CSV files to the allowed file types or remove the file type restrictions, an attacker could upload a malicious CSV file that executes an arbitrary command under the system user account.

If you allow CSV files to be uploaded, you must ensure that they are checked for dangerous characters before the upload.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration. Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Document storage.

  3. Click Quota and restrictions.

  4. Click Edit Edit.

  5. Adjust your settings.

  6. Click Save Save.

You have configured the quota and restrictions for your document storage.
