Identifiers

Use identifiers assigned to users to identify who created a database item. Only if identifiers are activated, the identifier attribute is set for each database item created. The identifier assigned to a user serves as a prefix, to which a sequential number is added. If no individual identifiers are available, the standard identifier STD is used by default.

You can manage identifiers if you have the database-related Prefix management function privilege. You can do the following:

Create identifiers that you can assign to users of the database.

  1. Click Application launcher Application launcher > Administration Administration. Configuration Configuration is displayed.

  2. Click Databases.

  3. Select the database and click Properties Properties > Identifier.

  4. Click Add font format Create identifier.
